A one-of-a-kind, systematic food production establishment, the facility will take lead as a food preparation source for all brands in the group to lessen any complications and at the same time, produce more food output to yield higher revenue. Named JD Central Kitchen, the establishment is staffed with a team of culinary and engineering professionals to properly manage its central kitchen approach.

 

Using various traditional and modern cooking methods, including the state of the art ‘Food Technology’ technique (such as the Sous Vide Food preparation and Cook-Chill food preparation), coupled with advanced machineries engineered with the specific intent to cook accurately, the chefs in the kitchen cook all food wholly to ensure absolute food quality and consistency, while eliminating all concerns on the possibility of overcooking. "Sous-vide", which translates to "under vacuum" from French, is a method of cooking food sealed in airtight plastic bags placed in a tub of temperature-controlled water without losing any of its natural flavours and nutrients, but instead, enhances them. Cook-Chill is a controlled system of advanced food preparation designed to provide more flexibility in foodservice. The technique involves the full cooking of food, followed by rapid chilling (blast freezing/chilling) and storage at controlled temperatures (for up to five days). The food must be reheated before being served.

 

On top of its all-rounded central kitchen service, the management has also apportioned a part of the available dining space to house an elegant 100-seater destination dining area, offering value Thai-themed meals in a comfy air-conditioned setting. Named after a short but popular street in Central Bangkok, Thailand, Khao San is offering all customers a wealth of not only authentic Thai food, but those that has been inspired by different cultures and flavours, without losing any of its native roots.

 

Located at 10 Raeburn Park, the new multi-functioning dining facility with a 5,000-sq. ft. kitchen space affords the team to achieve an all-rounded success, with the ability to produce consistent quality cuisines throughout to match the group’s high regards in excellence. JD Central Kitchen also thrives on value-added services which includes the capability of working out precise grams of food servings to reduce wastage and food cost which ensures proper standardisation on food quality as well as increasing operational efficiency.  The team is also using the available space to add on to their extensive distribution network for their raw food products, ingredients and paste, with large compartmentalised equipment racks to support their operations of this scale.

 

A one-stop dining solution, JD Central Kitchen centralises all food processing, including preparation, processing and cold storages of ingredients at the facility. Not only does this allow a streamlined process with systemised structure, it allows the kitchen to stay resourceful, efficient and consistent throughout its operations. Jus Delish Group also manages brands/restaurants such as Gin Khao, Gin Khao Bistro, Som Tam, Talay Kata, Porn’s and Kwan Inn Vegetarian. As such, the kitchen caters to all catering orders and pre-packed food deliveries for the rest of the brands in the Group.
